Obituary for Les Hubbard
Les Hubbard 49, of Warren, Rhode Island passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2018. Les was born on August 19, 1968, in Lynn, Massachusetts to Joanne and Leslie Hubbard. Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Lori (Macedo) of 21 years.
Les leaves two children, Jordan, 19 and Dylan, 17. In addition to his children, he leaves five sisters, Dorene King, Kathryn Howarth, Karen Fryzel, Sharon Senechal and husband Michael, JoAnn Goulart and husband Jeffrey. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Les graduated from Bristol High School. He completed ROTC Training. He also graduated from URI. He loved working for his family’s sandwich shop, Riccotti’s, in Bristol. He went on to work for the WIC Program for many years.
His true passion was music. As an accomplished musician he composed and recorded many original albums. As a self-taught musician he mastered the drums, piano, bass, guitar, and harmonica. He performed for family and fans who would enjoy seeing him play.
He was proud to perform for the Bristol Fourth of July Concert series. He was a member of many local bands over the years.
Les was an avid reader, a Facebook enthusiast and enjoyed traveling with his family. He was kind, artistic, creative, intelligent and had a wonderful sense of humor.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, March 17,2018 at 10:00am in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren.
