Condolence From: harry adams
Condolence: I just heard of Phil's passing today (Jun 21). We belong to a Vet Group together. More than that we both served in the 173d Airborne Brigade in Vietnam (at different times) which made us brother paratroopers. Phil was also a survivor of one of the bloodiest battles in the war: Dak To or Hill 875 as it was known in the 173d. He was a heck of a guy! I use to tell him he reminded me of an actor from the 50's who always played a rough gritty 'grunt" or marine. That was Phil. My condolences to his family, He was a man and father you could be proud of.

Condolence: I'm so very sorry for your loss and so sorry I was unable to attend services for your dad. I've known him since our Bogota High School days and we've remained good friends over the years. I'm so thankful for his assistance with my veterans benefits. He's visited since I've been sick for the last several months even though he wasn't well himself. He will sincerely be missed. With deepest sympathy, Phil Cenicola

Condolence: Phil,

I knew you from when you first moved from Scranton, PA to Bogota, NJ, and began to attend School # 3. You lived two blocks from me on Chestnut Ave. We had many battles, but also sat down often to pork fried rice and hot tea at the Chinese restaurant that sat above the W.T. Grant store on Main Street in Hackensack. After you had probably just finished purchasing a new pair of stylish shoes. Thank you for your military service on behalf of your country and for your courage while spending a year in Vietnam. I wish we could have connected more after high school and not only for the brief times during the reunions. God Bless You and Your Family. You will be missed, Old Friend.
