Melesia G Atchley, of Bloomfield, N.M., passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018. She was born April 5, 1951, to Juan C Gomez Jr and Lila P. Gomez in Durango, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan C Gomez Jr, Lila P. Gomez, brother Juan C. Gomez III and son Ronald D. Atchley Jr. Survivors include Husband Ronald D Atchley Sr. of Bloomfield, NM; son Carlos (Ginny) Atchley of Bloomfield, NM; daughter Marquita (Fiancé Jeff Rino) Atchley of Farmington, NM; sister - Sister Sara Marie Gomez, OSU of Aztec, brother Bart (Dianne) Gomez of Covington, La., Louie (Diane) Gomez of Gobernador, NM, sister in law Carla Gomez of Center, CO, and sister in law Juanice (Leroy) Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL; nieces and nephews Feliz (Lee) Hillman of Denver, CO, Juan Cristobal (Marina) Gomez IV of Santa Fe, NM, Roque (Kerstin) Gomez of El Paso, TX, Sarah (Jeremy) Roquemore of Farmington, NM, Mandy (Jason) Hano of Covington, LA, Ross (Stephanie) Gomez of Fort Collins, CO and Wayne (Barb) Smith of WA; Grandchildren Hailee Atchley, Maddox Rino and Jayme Rino. She will dearly be missed by all and will always be remembered for her devotion to her faith, family and friends and her passion for caring for family. A rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, at St. Mary''s Catholic Parish, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, March 15, at St. Mary''s Catholic Parish, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield with Father Josh Mayer as celebrant.Pallbearers are Louie Gomez, Cristobal Gomez, Ross Gomez, Jeff Rino, Jeremy Roquemore, and Chris Jaquez. Honorary pallbearers are Maddox Rino, Jayme Rino, Roque Gomez, Jason Smith, Wayne Smith, Tony Espinoza, Carlos Martinez, Mike Padilla, Mike Kovacs, Uncle Joe Gomez, Chad Burkholder, Kenny Lewellen and all her Primo''s.
