The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Zorbalas can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Nicholas Horiates

Mrs. Zorbalas, Spiros, Paul and Steven and families, George was not only a husband, father and grandfather to you, he was a treasured member in our St. Thomas community. I recall that he worked at RCA at the same time my Dad did, was involved with the audio setups in the Church hall (used for GOYA dances and early Greek School performances) and the audio setup in the gymnasium. He was normally there for our Greek School performances and Hellenic Heritage performances. Growing up in the St. Thomas community, he was a role model for us. I remember seeing him in the Marlton Rehabilitation Hospital in the fall of 2016 when my mom Stavroula was also there. Although he needed some assistance, he recognized me and nodded. I was happy to see him and Mrs. Zorbalas and Steven at that time. I am truly sorry to see him go so soon. May his memory be eternal.
