The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret Weber can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be. I met Margaret sailing in Maine 1983; before I met my husband and our children were born. We visited Margaret in her beloved New York where she took us around as a just married couple and again in 2000 as a family. She got the best bagels and told us the best way to get to see New York. Margaret was kind, a wonderful caring nurse and smart with a wicked sense of humor. She always called me when the Pats, Reds or Chicago teams were up against the New York teams in important competitions or say when the Cubs finally won the world series. And calls on the holidays to wish us well. I will miss her. We all cried Sunday at our home in Maine when we heard. I feel lucky to have spoke with her a few days before she left us. My love and prayers to Eddie and all Margaret's loved ones.
