CHELSEA, MAINE
Rodger D. Cote, age 52, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME following a brief illness. He was born in Gardiner, ME on September 6, 1965 a son of the late Robert J. and Audrey M (Alexander) Cote.
He was a graduate of Erskine Academy and had been employed by Cianbro for over 10 years. Rodger was a member of the North Augusta Trailblazers snowmobile club. Rodger was a hard-working perfectionist who took great pride in being part of the Cianbro team. Rodger loved his time in Rangeley snowmobiling and 4-wheeling with friends. His smile, sense of humor and kindness will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Cote was pre-deceased by a brother, Rodney J. Cote.
He is survived by his son, Joey L. Cote of Chelsea; his daughter, Jennifer L. Cote of Waterville; his significant other, Joyce M. Blanchard of Sidney; a brother, Roland B. Cote of Oakland; three sisters: Deborah M. Cote of Whitefield, Darlene A. Cote-Strout of Chelsea and Donna L. Cote of Chelsea as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may visit from 3-4 PM on Friday, March 30th at Plummer Funeral Home, Windsor Chapel, 983 Ridge Rd., Rt. 32, Windsor where a funeral service will follow at 4 PM. Burial will be later this spring in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gardiner.
