Condolence: Dear Charles, My mother and I were so sorry to read of your mother's passing. We both liked her so much. When I think of your mom, I remember a woman who was always dressed to the nines no matter what time of the day or night you showed up at her house. She always had a delicious dessert ready to offer you. I've tried red velvet cake in several places, but I've never tasted any that was better than your mom's recipe. I visited her once in a while through the years and she always treated me as if she had just seen me yesterday. We enjoyed catching up. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you.
