The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence Herrmann can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Dean and Nancy Duckwitz
Condolence: Saff, we are truly sad to hear of Florence's death, and the effect it must have on you (and family). I've known you for 45 years, since we worked together at the former Colorado Springs National Bank.
You, and Florence, were two of the most well respected and loved, delightful folks, of anyone I've ever known. Sadly, we all face death sometime during our lives, but I know you will fare extremely well, given the circumstances.
I was surprised to learn that you've been married so long, 72 years, three months before I was born. Live the best that you can, my friend, and trust that, in the end, everything will be ok.
Sincerely,
Dean and Nancy Duckwitz.

Condolence From: Concerned Neighbor
Condolence: I am so sorry for the tremendous loss you are suffering. I know how badly it hurts when someone you love dies. It's like there is a piece of your heart is missing, a piece that can never be filled or replaced. Has that horrible feeling ever made you wonder if this is really part of our existence? First Corinthians 15:26 says, "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." (Compare Revelation 20:14) If death is an enemy that is to be destroyed, how can it be part of our existence? If it is not apart of like, why do we die? Also, when death is destroyed, will we see our dead loved ones again?

Revelation 21:3, 4 also states that death and pain will be no more when God's tent is with mankind. Mankind or humankind live only on the earth. Death does not exist in heaven, only on earth. So it is the earth that will receive this promise. John 5:28, 29 Jesus promised that the death will live again.

So, take courage! Jesus has conquered the world!
