Obituary for Gordon Stuart Francis
GORDON STUART FRANCIS,
52, of Reese died suddenly April 5, 2018 in his home. He was born September 20, 1965 in Saginaw the second of five children born to Stuart Gordon and Gloria Jean (Ozbat) Francis. He married Beverly Alice Lewis July 20, 1985 in Reese United Methodist Church.
Gordon graduated from Reese High School. He was a licensed builder owning his own business, GSF Builders for a time. Gordon loved building and worked on large and small projects. He currently worked as the Maintenance Person at the Reese apartments. Gordon loved to play pool, playing every weekend with his Dad. Gordon loved to be outside and truly appreciated nature. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Beverly Francis of Caro; daughters: Jessica (Patrick) Synor of Oxford, Whitney Francis of Caro; granddaughter, Charlotte; parents, Stuart and Gloria Francis of Reese; sister, Bridget Walden of Clio; brothers: Gerald Francis of Reese, Greg (Jacquie) Francis of North Troy, WI; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his twin sister, Ranae who died at age 4 ½.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
