Morris Leo Etmanski
Etmanski, Morris - It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Morris Etmanski at the age of 86, after a long and courageous battle with ALS. Mr Etmanski passed away peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital surrounded by his children, Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Born in Whitney, Ontario on April 11, 1932 to the late Michael and Rose Etmanski. Mr Etmanski lived in Temagami for most of his life.
Predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Theresa, son Andrew and brothers: Max and Bernie. Left to mourn are his children: Darren [Rhonda] Etmanski, Joan [Real] Brazeau; grandchildren: Craig [Leslie Ann], Kristen [Mitch], Megan [Bill], Kayla [Jacob], Jordan, Paige [Alex]; six -great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Florence, Len [Myrna], Phil [Denise], Rick [Bev], Ken [Lynn]; sisters-in-law: Lillian Finnerty, Veronica O'Connor, Betty Mullin, Morna Mullin, Rita Etmanski and Alice Mullin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In keeping with Mr Etmanski's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, contributions to Timiskaming Home Support will be gratefully acknowledged.
The family would like to thank Dr Goddard and theTemagami Family Health Team, Dr Don Davies, the wonderful staff at Temiskaming Hospital and the amazing staff at Timiskaming Home Support who provided care to Dad in order for him to remain in his home.
