Condolences

Condolence From: Shelley Hebert
Condolence: Sending my condolences to Morris's family and friends. I had the pleasure of spending mornings with this funny gentleman when I was one of his PSW a few years ago.He always had a story to tell, a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. I am thankful for the time I got to spent with him. He will be missed by the whole community.

Condolence: I shared communion with your Dad over the last few years. He would reminisce about family, friends and fishing. He taught me how to make his version of baked beans, which my family prefers to mine. He tried to help me become more successful at fishing and even drew me a map of where to fish on Net Lake (it hasn't helped). I loved how he would sometimes start laughing before he even started a story, and by the end we were both in tears. He was very proud of his family, often showing me photos to augment his stories. I will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Condolence From: Kelly and Brian Gard and sons
Condolence: Rest In Peace dear Morris. When we think of you we will remember all the wonderful visits we had with you sitting on the deck at the cottage. We all loved your stories and words of wisdom about “the North” and we always got a kick out of your sense of humour. You’ll be with your Andy and Theresa now and that brings us comfort.

To Joanie, Darren and families — please accept our deepest condolences and sympathies. Your dad/father-in-law/grandpa was a great man. He will be missed by his many friends.

Condolence From: Ron and Suzanne Prefasi
Condolence:
Morris and Theresa were one of the first couples we knew in Temagami when we were first married almost 50 years ago. They both had an incredible sense of humour and were fun to be with! Although Morris’ trips into town became fewer and fewer over the last years, any time he stopped by the store he had a story to tell and something to tease about and he never lost the enjoyment of speaking to people. He was the definition of a “people person”! Condolences to Darren and Rhonda and Joanie and families.

Condolence: Fond memories of visits with both Uncle Morris and Aunt Theresa. He was always one to tell a good story or joke. Visits to the farm and our visits to your home were always fun. Sending hugs to all of you. You are in my prayers and thoughts.

Condolence From: John and Jean Watkins
Condolence: It was with a great deal of sadness that we learned of Morris' passing. Jean and I have been friends of Morris and his family for over 50 years. He was a true, loyal friend, fun to be with, entertaining, witty, and he could fix anything that was broken. We counted on him being there anytime we were in Temagami, he was a big part of any trip to our camp. The past years were not easy for him, the fact he passed in the hospital with his family around him was a blessing. Jean and I will always remember Morris with fond memories and wish him everlasting peace.

Condolence: I am so sorry Darren to learn about the passing of your Father. Even though I have never met your Dad, he sounds like he was a wonderful man by the stories you shared with us at work during our breaks. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family during this difficult time.
