Anne almost made it to our 27th Theta reunion. It is taking place on April 22 in Milwaukee. Anne was planning on coming. She had never missed one of them. Anne and I and many others belonged to Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at UW Madison in the early 50s. A group of us from that time got together, somewhere in the US or Canada, every year since 1990. That year was the 100th anniversary of Theta at Madison. What fun we have had over the years. Our gatherings will not be the same without Anne. We will raise a glass of Chardonnay and say "three cheers" in her honor.

Certainly going to miss Anne's great Badger spirit. She's was such a joy during the Alamo Bowl several years ago that I had the pleasure to attend. Marching with the band before the game, she was a star. May she continue to be a STAR for all of us.
