Edell H. Cumbie, 88, of Canon City passed away April 17, 2018. Edell was born August 19, 1929 in Andrews, South Carolina to Buck H. and Edna Cumbie.
Edell served our country in the United States Army from 1948 to 1951 during the occupation of the Japan and Korean conflict.
He was a retired overhead crane operator for 33 years with the CFI in Pueblo, Colorado.
Dell, as most knew him, in his many years of auto sales, had a true love for cars and was an avid fan of Nascar. He will forever be remembered for his love of country music and dancing.
Edell is survived by son, Kelly (Kathy) Cumbie; daughters, JoDell (Rod) Coulter, Joyce Broughton, Dawn (Patrick) Orona; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and his wonderful friend, Dorothy Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rena (Joann) Cumbie; both parents; siblings; and grandson, Boe Randall.
