Condolence: Sorry to hear of the death of Burt. We first met Burt in the early 70's when he was referred to us by Sylvia Hudson to do some remodeling of our Augusta house. He was a wonderful carpenter and did a great job. Later when he started locksmithing out of his home he did additional work for us at the Whitefield Country Pre-school where three of his grandchildren attended. We have stayed in touch with his daughter Jeannine who is a Whitefield neighbor. Again, deepest sympathy to the family.

Condolence: Condolences to the family. We only met Burt recently when his daughter
Brought him to fish in our trout ponds. He was not going to give up with his fly rod as we just watched him--he did it--two very nice trout. He had a great smile pleased with his success that day. We really enjoyed his visit and stories he shared. We know There are many wonderful memories you will always have. Our thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Goodbye to my last living uncle Bert. A great carpenter, he built a road case for my music man amp in 1977, and although I sold it a few years later, I can't help but think it's still in service somewhere...a quality piece...it lives on. RIP.

Condolence: I will always remember Burt Truman's sense of humor because it was the stuff from which legends are made. His home was always filled with laughter and he was often the source. I am grateful that Burt always welcomed me in and treated me like one of his own. I looked up to him as a role model of what I needed to emulate when I became a dad. He was voted Hallowell's citizen of the year in 2017, and in my humble opinion, was well deserving of this award for many years before he received it "officially". Some people leave a "lasting impression" but Burt left both that and a legacy of love through Pat and the kids. I have already reached out to Pat and to my dearest love Michelle, but I also wanted to let the rest of the siblings know that my prayer is that God will comfort them and that they will remember that I remain their friend.
