WATERFORD Rosemary Shaw, 72, of Fonda Rd. died Friday May 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Waterford she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Arciello Robitaille. She was educated in Waterford schools.

Early in her working career Rosemary was a medical billing specialist for several local doctors and dentists as well as a local hospital and High Point Regional Hospital in North Carolina. In the latter part of her career she worked for several attorneys in the mortgage title field, most recently, Carola Bagnoli and Tollisen in Mechanicville.

Rosemary was an avid reader and book collector. Her kindness and generosity were well known among her family and friends. Her love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her great Christian Faith were evident in the many Bible Study Classes she taught at several local churches and other venues. She taught Sunday school for many years and her children’s stories were well known in several area churches. Her spiritual guidance to anyone in need of having burdens lifted or an encouraging word or needing an uplift in spirit could always count on Rosemary for strength, support and compassion thru prayer.

Survivors include her husband Garry Shaw Sr., her sons, Garry Shaw Jr. (Catherine) of Statesville, NC and Gregory Shaw (Kathy) of Thomasville NC. She is the sister of Mary Shaw (Larry) of Waterford, Penny Carlton (Jim) of Waterford, William Robitaille (Donna) of Cohoes, James Robitaille (Donna) of Waterford and the late Terry Wicks. She is the proud grandmother of Zachary Shaw and Joshua White. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
