Elizabeth “Betty” June Meirthew 83 of Harrison, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at MidMIchigan Health-Clare. Elizabeth was born March 4, 1935 in Ann Arbor, Michigan the daughter of Charles and Alberta Mitchell.
Betty was a member of Trinity Christian Life Center, Harrison, Women of the Moose Chapter #1804, Harrison and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3541 also of Harrison. Betty enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, horseback riding, coaching baseball, serving as a brownie leader and campfire leader.
Surviving Mrs. Meirthew is her daughter, Venus Davis and husband John, two grandchildren; Kevin Jeffery and Tyler Davis, six great-grandchildren; Aiden Jeffery, Kadence Jeffery, Evin Jeffery, Baby Jeffery, Anastasia Davis and Baby Mason Davis, one sister, Beverly Tanner of West Virginia, one brother Robert Ulch and cousins Michelle and Ron Watson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters; Doris, Jean, Ida, Myrtle, two brothers, Daniel and Leonard.
