The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clare Wissel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Rick & Kathy and Family: Our hearts extend in sympathy to you at the loss of your dear Mom, Clare. She has been a rock of faith and family for most of my life. During high school, Mom Wissel was a fixture on visiting Sundays and guaranteed to be loaded down with the best treats. During college, she was the only one that I would trust to babysit our newborn son, Tony. The first time she kept him for us, I was driving her crazy calling every half hour to make sure all was fine. Finely, she gently but firmly suggested I stop driving her crazy saying: "You're the one who's new at this. I've been doing this since before you were born!" Everyone who knew her was enriched and better for it. We have all of you in prayers and in our hearts. Love, Dale & Susan
