Ellen Louise Lewis, 84, of Gardner, KS passed away May 6, 2018 at the Olathe Medical Center. Cremation. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm May 9, 2018 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Ellen was born January 21, 1934 in Gardner, KS to Ronald LeRoy and Charlotte Cornelius (Fraser) Horn. She graduated from Gardner High School. Ellen was a life-long area resident. She married Donald J. Lewis in Las Vegas, NV and was previously married to Tom Bradford, who was the father of her three children. Ellen worked as a waitress at the well-known Downtowner café in Gardner, legal secretary and then as a cafeteria cook for K-Mart, retiring at the age of 62. She loved to cook and cooked for the Johnson County Jail. Ellen enjoyed collecting angels, sharing them with those she thought were in need and was always wearing her pin. She loved living at the Gardner Lake. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children: JoEllen Kessler of Olathe, KS, Tommie Bradford of Spring Hill, KS and Cindy Lehman and Rhett Collins of San Diego, CA; brother, Bob Horn of Lee’s Summit, MO; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
