Obituary for Rev. William F. Nichols Sr.
Rev. William F. Nichols, Sr. entered into rest on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born April 25, 1929 to the late Wade Nichols and Dora Barnes in DeWitt County.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nellie B. Nichols; sons, Stevie Nichols (Kim) and Rev. William F. Nichols, Jr.; and daughters, Nelda Garner, Cheryl Nichols, Tracey Carroll (Shawn), Veronica Nichols, and Keysha Friar (Victor). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Rev. Nichols Sr. is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Kennan Burden and Kylyssa Nichols.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm at The Good Shepard Church, 209 King St, Cuero, TX, with Rev. William F. Nichols, Jr., officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
