Life Story for Joyce Marie Hudson

Joyce Marie  Hudson
Joyce Marie (Fuller) Hudson, the fifth child of the late Earl and Sylvia Fuller, was born on July 1, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Joyce accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Highland Park Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Tx. She later joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Arlington and was a member of the Sr. Choir. She was also a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas,Tx, where she served as an usher. And In 2016 she became a member of Koinonia Christian Church where she also served faithfully as an usher.
Joyce graduated Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in 1972. She then attended Houston-Tillotson University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics in 1976. Joyce worked as a payroll clerk for various companies in the DFW area for 35 years. Her last position before retiring was with Neovia Logistics, Irving, Tx.
On September 19, 1982 Joyce was united in holy matrimony to Gary Hudson. To this union two children were born, one son and one daughter. Joyce was later reunited with her former classmate, Ed Burns and they shared many years of love and companionship.
Joyce loved cooking, sewing, Zumba; and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Sylvia Fuller.
She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her home going, daughter, Bridget Hudson; son, Brandon Hudson; sisters: Jackie Lewis, Sharlette Fuller and Vanessa Hardeman (Timothy); brothers: William Vonzell Fuller( Kornelia), Byron Fuller; four grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
