The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Henretty can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To the family and friends of John, I am truly sorry for your loss. I am Vicki Piersol's mom and I'll always remember John at Creation, cooking the most delicious food for us for our night time "snack"! We often would listen to the speakers on the stage on the radio together. (until they stopped broadcasting them.) He was a great guy and I know he will be missed.

Condolence: Michael & Family,
💔😢 My heart breaks for you Michael, also your entire family. I know how much you loved your Grandpa. Remember all the fun times you and him together, Michael. My prayers are with you Michael, as well as everyone in the family.🙏🏼 My sympathies go out to all extended family members and all who loved Michael’s Grandpa.

Michael, I remember how quickly you would rush off the school bus, practically missing a step or two, when you knew Grandpa was standing on the porch waiting for you.😉 Remember times like that!! 💙

Thinking of you, Ms. Pam (old bus #46) 🙂

Condolence: Jamie, Justin and Family ,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I am proud to know ALL of you and it has been my great pleasure to watch you grow into awesome people.
While taking care of a loved one may not be easy, take pride in the fact you performed loving ,caring and selfless deeds until the end.
Your Dad ( Grandfather ) can only be proud of the great legacies he has left behind.
May you all find comfort in the Lord and each other. May you celebrate each memory and ( SPORTS GAME ) with the knowledge that he is with you in your heart.
Much Love to all,
Christina And Family.

Condolence: To Jamie Justin and all John's grandchildren, Cindy and I are so sorry for the loss of your Dad and Grand Dad. We loved him so much and shared so many good times in the 27 years we knew each other. I know how he loved you with all his heart. He espcially loved going to Alyssa games and Dom's matches. He loved feeding the homeless with the Church and he loved and was gifted at making people laugh. Just last Saturday when we talked he had me rolling on the floor. Of course cant share because you know why. Your Dad said what he wanted. He told me once after he made a questionalbe statement "God knew it was on my mind so I don't need to hide it". John was one of kind and my best friend and I miss him so already. My prayers are with you as you move forward until one day we will all be reunited. I'm blessed and a better person because of his influence in my and Cindy's life. Oh I got stories but I dont want to take up all the bandwidth. WE LOVE YOU WE CARE FOR YOU.
