Condolence: Tami, Scott and Lori and family: I can't even come up with words right now. This was by far something I never imagined seeing. I have stayed off facebook for quite some time but with upcoming graduations, hearing of classmates becoming grandparents, etc., at this time of year, I have been logging in maybe once or twice every other day and looking for these, but when I saw this, my first thought was back to these sick people that for some reason find humor in posting a celebrity passing away that was not true. To this day, I still cannot for the life of me imagine how or why anyone would do such a horrible thing. Then I hoped and prayed that this was one of those sick jokes. I just cannot believe that we lost another great classmate at such a young age. My only comfort is what keeps me going and this is when we lose people our own age, we have to believe that we always knew God had a plan for us since He put us on this earth and when we accomplished His path for us and we accomplish (and many go way beyond), God calls them home to seek all their rewards. Although I lost communication with Chris for way too many years (and I have been shouting from the rooftops that although this modern technology has so many great benefits, it really is taking away the ability to human connections. People are settled in their comfortable lives they spent decades providing for themselves and their loved ones, but there are still people that they could take the time to reach out and see if they could make your world just a little bit better. There is no doubt that Chris continued to make every life he touched a little bit better.
My heart is aching and my thoughts and prayers for this amazing family he created. And I thank God that although I lost contact since graduation and shamefully didn't make more of an attempt to reconnect, I am honored that I did have some fun years and memories with him.
