Condolence From: Betttye Ogburn-Edwards
Condolence: Cheri & I worked together at SIEA in Colorado in the '80's. I watched her bravery & courage during the first pout of cancer. She always came to work with that beautiful smile on her face and only I knew how hard it was on her physically; but, she never gave up hope for a full recovery. I knew something was wrong when I did not hear from her on my birthday & Christmas. She never forgot to send me a greeting. I've been trying to get information thru e-mails, letters, & phone calls. I found this web-site and my heart was so sad to finally know. The last time she wrote me, I could tell that she was very tired of fighting this battle and she let her Savior take away the pain and brought her home to be with him. RIP my dear friend

Condolence: Aunt Cheri and I were like pen pals. We both enjoyed genealogy very much and wrote back and forth by letters, cards and emails through the years. After my mother (her oldest sister) passed away, my connection to Aunt Cheri really helped me even more. I only wish I could have known Aunt Cheri even more. I will miss being connected to her.
