Obituary for Arthor Baisden

Arthor  Baisden
Arthor Baisden, 59 of Dingess, WV departed this life Monday June 4, 2018 at his residence.

He was born June 30, 1958 at Dingess to the late Anderson and Asba Messer Baisden. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his brother, Andy Baisden.

Arthor was a member of Trace Church of God. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved old cars and Harleys.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 37 years, Lisa Spaudling Baisden; son, Eric (Katrina) Burgess of Ransom, KY; daughter, Jennifer Newsome (Mike Payne) of Dingess; brothers, Amos (Jamie) Baisden, Anthony (Vicky) Baisden, both of Dingess, and Bill (Annette) Meade Jr of Michigan; grandchildren, Jason, Austin, and Tanieca Newsome, Ian and Kaden Burgess; and a very special friend Johnnie Bailey. He is also survived by a host of friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday June 8, 2018 at Trace Church of God with Rev. Johnnie Bailey and Bishop Bobby Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Baisden-Messer Family Cemetery at Dingess.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Thursday June 7, 2018 at Trace Church of God with evening services starting at 7 p.m. also at the church. Visitation will continue following the services.
