Obituary for Sylvia Mae Gilman

Sylvia Mae Gilman of Colorado Springs and Coaldale, Colorado was born in Granada, Colorado on May 18, 1934. She was the daughter of Dorothy Mae Davis and Henry Clark Gilman. She went to be with her Lord at her home in Colorado Springs on Monday, June 4, 2018.

Sylvia Mae is survived by two brothers, Ethan and Thomas of Colorado Springs, and two sisters, Dorothy Grace and Deanna of Colorado Springs and Canon City respectively, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a teacher and taught for a time at Cotopaxi High School. She ended her career teaching at Biola University in La Mirada, California where she taught for 26 years.

Her funeral service will be held at the Coaldale cemetery at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2018.
