Rose T. Vergara, 90, of Coatesville died Friday, June 8, 2018 at Hickory House Nursing Home, Honey Brook surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of Martin Vergara, who preceded her in death in 1997.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Carmella Moschitta Donia.
For 20 years Rose was employed at Dave’s Corner Deli and she also enjoyed cooking for her family.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Coatesville.
Surviving her are four sons, Martin, Michael (Terry), Nicholas (Fran) and Vincent (Jeanie); three daughters, Theresa Goodyear (John), Rose Marie Goodyear and Cathy Vergara; a son-in-law, Patrick Langan; a sister, Mary Ambroziak; a brother, Peter Donia; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carmella “Millie” Langan; a son-in-law, Robert A. Goodyear; two sisters, Catherine Baker and Edith Frederick and a brother, Anthony Donia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m., Thursday at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville.
Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
