Joseph L. Pendolf, Sr., 71, of Utica, NY, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Abraham House.
He was born September 21, 1946 in Utica, a son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Dora Penner Pendolf. He was a self-employed maintenance and handyman until his retirement.
Joseph had a passion and love for playing BINGO. He was a very meticulous man and had a crazy and dry sense of humor, often he was the only one who you would find laughing at his own jokes.
Surviving are his children, Laura Pendolf and Lou Bullen of Utica, Sarah Pendolf of Allen, TX, Joseph Pendolf, Jr. of Allen, TX, Dianna and Lanny Smiley of Constantia; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Nancy Pendolf, Jr. of New York Mills; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by special friends Sam and Nancy Trapanick. He was predeceased by three sisters, Rebecca Stevens, Angela Pendolf, and Marian Mashtare.
In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, NY.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Aunt Susie for her care and kindness and also the staff at the Abraham House for the care and comfort shown towards Joseph.
