The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Barbara Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: It’s hard to find the words when my heart hurts so much, but Barbara-otherwise known as my mom-is going to be missed every single day. As the years passed on my mom became more to me, she became my friend-I looked forward to visiting with you and sharing the on-goings of life and now I am deeply saddened that I can only visit you in my memories. But I am comforted that in my memories there is joy, laughter, good times and a good relationship shared. I’m honored to be your daughter-you had many qualities I aspired to and admired. Loyalty, dedication, and strength, you were very protective, polite, showed kindness, were very hardworking, and yes creative-although you’d argue that one.
Thank you for loving me, caring and supporting me always. I am so grateful for you and I thank God for you always. I miss you mom so much-I love you mom.
