The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ian Murdoch can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brad and Robyn Chase
Condolence: So many fond memories of a “community parent”. Mr Murdoch (Ian) was a great example of a husband and a respected father to his boys. I was fortunate to be one of the many friends of the family who spent time in the Murdoch living room watching weekend tv, travelling rural MB to hockey tournaments, golfing at Hecla etc. It was during these time I was in a way shaped by a great figure of our community. Many connections like me (including my brother) will miss Mr Murdoch but will be grateful we had the chance to know him.
Condolences to Mrs Murdoch (Shirley) and all of the Murdoch family.

Condolence: To all the Murdoch Family,

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ian. He was a lovely man, smart, quiet and always ready to smile. I will always remember his wise words and him touring around the house in Carman with his touque on in the winter. He was a great dad and community member. Sadly,I will be overseas at the time of the memorial but wish you a day of support, love and great stories about Mr. Murdoch. Lots of love, Karla
