Obituary for Troy Eugene Peters
Troy Eugene Peters, age 49, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 7, 1969, in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of Crawford F. and Fay Walls Peters.
Troy was a 1988 graduate of James Buchanan High School. He Worked for Jerr-Dan as an assembler until 2009. He enjoyed collecting NASCAR and Football memorabilia, watching NASCAR racing, football, and game shows, and especially the fixer upper shows. He also enjoyed going to muscle car shows with his Dad and taking their cars to shows.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Beryl Walls; two brothers, Crawford F. Peter, Jr. (wife Karen) of McConnellsburg, PA and Michael Peters (wife Kellie) of Elizabethtown, PA; two nephews, Nathan and Seth Peters; and a niece, Mackenzie Peters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at Christian Life Assembly, 1400 Warm Springs Rd, Chambersburg, PA at 1PM, where Pastor Joe Pickens will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Christian Life Assembly, 1400 Warm Springs Rd Chambersburg, PA 17201.
