Condolence From: Nancy L Livingston
Condolence: I still cannot believe he is gone. I always thought I'd see him again, and always hoped for his health and happiness. The last time I saw him and spoke with him was in 2005, which seems like just yesterday. Although our time together as a couple was short, I loved Neil very much, and his passing has left a vacancy in my heart which is filled with sorrow. My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to his mother and father, and his brother and sister in law and their children, and to everyone else who he called a friend and who was touched by his love and kindness.

Condolence From: Lee Barnes
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Neil's family members. I had both the honor and pleasure to work with Neil for 7 years in Champaign-Urbana, as well as play softball together. Gifted athlete that he was, Neil was like a 'vacuum' at 1st base, and made all his team mates play better, while salvaging many errant throws to 1st base over time. Neil was very sharp, witty, positive and made everyone more successful around him, through his talents, commitment and his ultimate generosity, good will and kindness.
