Julie Lynn McIntyre (Clark)
August 19, 1949 - July 10, 2018.
Julie passed peacefully in her sleep at home with her children (Craig and Allison) and close friend (Tracie) by her side. Although devastated by the sudden loss of her husband Michael, in 1999, she reinvented herself by returning to work in children's services and obtained a masters degree in art therapy, becoming a psychotherapist, a career in which she embraced with fierce passion. 13 foster children, real estate broker, CEO extraordinaire, child care worker, contractor, builder, house flipper, college professor, philanthropist, musician, artist and leader, Julie inspired those around her, and led by quiet compassionate conviction. She encouraged creativity and empathy, which she instilled not only in her children, but in her most prized love, her grandson, Ciarán. Simply put, Julie was love in action. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. A memorial to honour Julie's life will be held on Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Codes Mill On The Park, 17 Wilson St., East, Perth. In remembrance of Julie, those wishing are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
