Walter Carl "Pete" Raschke Jr., 60, of Ashland, passed away Thursday July 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Fremont, Ohio and was the son of Walter Carl and Jessie Carolyn (Stalnaaker) Raschke Sr.
He was a graduate of Clyde High School with the class of 1976.
He moved to the Ashland area over 40 years ago from the Fremont area.
Pete had worked in construction and seeral other fields over the years.
Pete was a huge sports fan following the Ashland University Eagles and watching Hockey and Baseball. He was a former Little League Baseball in Ashland, and had bowled on different leagues at both LuRay and King Lanes in Ashland.
He is survived by his sisters, Susan Raschke and her husband Jim Kuhn and Jessica (Doug) Elliott, and a niece, Michaela Elliott all of Ashland,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. and Carolyn Raschke.
A informal graveside gathering will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nankin Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to share a memory of Pete at this time.
