The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kandy Vermeulen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Phyllis Autieri Martinez
Condolence: Kandy and I were friends in high school, especially senior year. Her sunny disposition and bright smile always made me happy to share time with her. I wrote to her a few times , while she was in the nursing home , with class news and memories. She responded to my letters with a few of her own, always apologizing for her poor penmanship. I know she was in tremendous pain and distraught with her failing condition. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to touch her in these last months. I will miss the bright spot she was in my life, but know the memories will always keep me smiling. My condolences to the family.
