The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Lane can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Kathy Constantino
Condolence: My most sincere condolences to Bob, Maureen, Melody and Barbara Jean. Jeannie (as we called her) and my family go back many years. Jean had a great sense of humor and was always there when you needed her. When my dad passed away she helped my mom tremendously. She will never be forgotten for that. I miss those summers going “down the shore “ with the whole family. May her soul rest in peace.

Condolence: I worked with Jean at my husband’s company, APS, in Lavallette for 30 years. She always had a smile and a funny story to share. She was the problem solver of the office. All the difficult questions went to Jean.

Besides working together we were lucky to count Jean as a friend. Our children’s favorite part of Halloween was trick or treating at her home and Jean in her witch’s hat. She was always fun to be around. One of my favorite things that I borrowed from her is what she said when she left the office each day. She said, “I will see you tomorrow if the Lord be willing and the creek don’t rise.” See you tomorrow, Jean.

Condolence: We are sorry we cannot be with all of you but we currently are on a ship in the Atlantic and will not be home until next week. We shall miss our good friend and hard worker who gave so much to Lavallette. We always think of her as the fabric that kept Lavallette together. There will never be another person like Jean Lane. Our prayers are with you, her family.
God bless you.

Mrs. Lane (as I always called her by that name) will always have a lasting memory in my heart.

Condolence: Aunt Jean I'm at a loss for words. The memories of our families growing up together are to many to list. You were always my favorite Aunt. You will be so greatly missed by everyone. Say hello to everyone in heaven for us. Let the card games begin. RIP Aunt Jean. Love you. Your niece Ruthie 👼❤
