Dear Alice & Family, We were sorry to hear about Homer's passing. My Dad & Homer started grade one together. My Dad, and his brothers had a long friendship, with Homer over the years. My Dad recalls that Homer came out to the farm to help with Threshing & that he did a good job! Homer was at my parent's wedding in 1961; he helped out at the bar. When my parent's had their 50th Anniversary, Homer had sent them a beautiful card & reminisced about attending! I hope you find comfort from this Bible verse, at 2 Corinthians 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort".
