Wilbraham – Diego L Arvelo Ortiz, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at Wingate At Wilbraham. Diego was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on February 22nd, 1932, to Pedro Arvelo and Maria Ortiz. Diego was very much loved by his family, He was a Great Husband, Father grandfather and great grandfather, and he loved his Red Sox. Diego leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Dolores Gonzalez of 66 wonderful years of marriage, a son; Edwin Arvelo, a Daughter; Sonia Arvelo, 2 Brothers; Miguel and Jose Arvelo, 3 Sisters; Erundina, Maria and Ana Arvelo, 5 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and great great granddaughter, family and friends. Visitation hours will be on Monday, August 6th, 2018 from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal 37 Wilkes Street Springfield, Mass 01119, and at Puerta Del Cielo 730 State Street Springfield, Ma 01109, followed by a burial at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery.
