Obituary for Eduardo Perez

Eduardo Perez
Eduardo J. “Eddie” Perez, 61, of Piscataway, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday August 19, 2018 at St. Peter’s hospital in New Brunswick, NJ surrounded by his family. He was born August 13, 1957 in Manilla, Philippines to Leticia and Dominador Perez, Sr. and graduated from San Beda College in Philippines with a Master’s Degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. Prior to working as a case coordinator for a law firm handling insurance claims and retirement accounts, he was a manager of a large chain of Robinson’s stores in the Philippines.

Eddie is survived by his wife Rachel, daughter Samantha, mother Leticia Perez, and in-laws Paquito and Nenita Samson. Rachel and Eddie married on March 10, 2001 and they lived a life filled with love and support for each other. They were dedicated members of Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center in Sayreville, NJ and shared a strong faith in Christ.

Family was very important to Eddie. He leaves behind his brother Don and his wife Julieta, sisters Rebecca and Veronica and her husband Kurt, as well as brother-in-laws Mark and his wife Vivian, Joel and his wife Lotlot, and sister-in-laws Maila and Karen and her husband Mario. Eddie also had strong bonds with nieces Ruth Anne, Katarina and her husband Evan, Noekka, Sophia, and nephews Kurt, Kyle, Derek, Patrick, Andrew, Michael, Matthew, and Allen.

A true restaurant connoisseur, Eddie’s passion was trying new foods and restaurants in the area. Traveling to tropical locations with his family was another passion and he planned to retire in his favorite travel destination of Hawaii. Above all else, Eddie loved being with his wife and daughter. As a devoted father to his beloved daughter Samantha, free time involved watching her doing Tae Kwan Do or playing soccer and basketball for Timothy Christian School among many other activities. Although he is gone from his earthly body, Eddie will continue to watch over Rachel and Samantha.

Eddie joins his father, Dominador Perez, Sr. and brothers-in-law Edgar Manansala and Mervin Samson in heaven.
