Paula Michelle Hayes, 52, of Milford, Connecticut, died on August 24, 2018. She is the daughter of Gloria Evans Hayes and the late Alford G. Hayes. She is survived by her sisters Karen C. Bell (Bruce) of New Hampshire and Laura Hayes of Milford. She is also survived by her neices Sarah Cheverier (Joseph) of Naugatuck and Amber Bell of New Hampshire, her great-nephew Matthew Hester of Naugatuck, her goddaughter Jamie Fearnley of Milford, cousin Michele Zampedri and many other cousins and many good friends.

Paula's love and compassion for others was immeasurable. She was a caretaker all of her life. She was "Auntie" to so many children, taking them under her wings. With her love and guidance, they have become awesome people. She was a true angel among us. Paula was a life-long member at her family's church, the United Presbyterian Church of Milford and a deacon there for the last 5 years.

Paula's family would like to especially thank Michele Zampedri, John Zampedri, Jamie Fearnley and Rona Nikerl for all their love, care and support during this difficult time.

The hours for visitation will be Wednesday, August 29th from 4-8 pm. at the West Haven Funeral Home on Savin Avenue in West Haven, with a remembrance starting at 7 pm. There will be a church service at the United Presbyterian Church at 109 Seaside Avenue, Milford, on Saturday, September 1st. at 1 pm. followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall.

Interment will be private.
