Obituary for Germaine LaNell Mobley (Reamy)

On Monday, September 3, Germaine Hunnicutt Mobley (Reamy), wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 62. She was born to Ostein “Andy” Reamy and Iva Nell Reamy (Owen) on April 2, 1956.
A Corsicana native, Germaine spent her lifetime caring for others. She married Randy Hunnicutt on September 20, 1974. They made their home and raised their children in Barry, TX and spent 26 years together until Randy’s death in 2001. She later married John Mobley on January 1, 2003, and they resided in Corsicana, TX. Germaine was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, sweet words, and generosity. Her greatest blessings and joys were her children and grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook who was known to make candy, cookies, or cakes for others just to show she cared. She loved being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren baking brownies and coloring. She made sure her grandchildren wanted for nothing. She loved to plan and host holiday gatherings for her family and life-long friends. She was beautiful inside and out.
She is preceded in death by her father, Andy Reamy, of Navarro; her brother, Ryan Reamy, of Kerens, and her first husband, Randy Hunnicutt, of Barry. She is survived by her adoring mother, Nell Reamy, of Navarro; her dear husband, John Mobley, of Coriscana; her loving son, Chad Hunnicutt, his fiancé Jacqueline Hagmier, and grandsons, Eli Hagmeir and Evan Hunnicutt, of Barry, TX; her doting daughter, Christin Phillips, her son-in-love, Jacob Phillips, and their children, Hunter and Peyton Phillips, of Tomball; her brother, Adolf Reamy of Corsicana, and one niece, two nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 22, at 10 AM at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery for the interment of Germaine’s ashes with Reverend Benny Horn presiding. A family luncheon will follow at Oak Valley Town Hall for all who wish to celebrate Germaine’s life and legacy of love.
An online guest book is available at www.corleyfuneralhome.com and selecting the Germaine Mobley obituary.
