Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Una has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the Rulership of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Polk, I now light a candle for you as you lit a candle in my life as my 5th grade teacher at Barrett Elementary School. I admired you greatly as you were my first black teacher and were a wonderful person and a beautiful sight to be seen in the classroom. Always a big smile and a wonderful personality, a beautiful person both inwardly and outwardly. You provided me with great inspiration and aspirations and were a fantastic role model to look up to, you made coming to class as a 5th grader something to look forward to! I always did and always will remember you. Thank you - Rest in Peace and comfort with the Lord.

Mrs. Polk was my teacher 4th and 5th grade @ Barrett School way back in the sixties, myself and others were some of the first people to enter the new school. Mrs Polk was the best teacher I ever had, I loved her because she loved us. Sometimes after church we would come by, stand on the porch and chit chat. God bless her on her way to Heaven.Bless her family dear Lord..She was a great LADY....
