The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Reichle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Kenny & Me

Kenny and I shared a classroom for several years. Team teaching was new, innovative with a room full of 16-18 year olds with raging hormones and issues. We always got along and agreed about American history except for FDR and his significance in U.S. history. And we playfully argued and in classroom were two sides a dialogue for our combined classes. They loved seeing teachers not agreeing. Soon however, we enrolled in a MA in history at KU and took identical classes. We literally spent over 6 Hours a day during school year and then rode, attended classes, and researched papers at KU library for 8 weeks times 9 hours/day. Ill miss himas he was a mentor, friend, colleague, bank line buddy, history addict, gardener mentor, and most importantly a person Ill never ever be able to say wasnt someone i didnt admire, respect, or care about. HAIL AND FAREWELL!!!
