Cora Cornish
Age 77, of Irelandville, NY, passed away September 14, 2018. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (Sept. 18th) from 1pm-2pm; followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 2:00pm at the funeral home; interment at Sugar Hill Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Cora was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Alice Cornish. Also, her husbands Ronald Phillips and Maxwell Hicks; son Ronald Phillips “Chip”, infant son Vincent Scott, and brother, Kenneth “Butch” Cornish, Jr. She is survived by her children, Cassandra (Scott) Dickerson of Irelandville, Christina (Bill) Pelham of Texas, and Kelly (Jerry) Gleason of Beaver Dams; brothers and sisters, Loren (Linda) Cornish of Watkins Glen, Beverly Smith of Florida, Albert Cornish of Watkins Glen, Karen (Bob) Cook of Boston, Keith Cornish of Pennsylvania, and Kevin (Janice) Cornish of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Cora loved playing cards, especially “Aggressive Rummy”. She also loved gardening, sewing, ceramics and making jewelry. You may express condolences to the family or “Light a Candle of Remembrance” online at www. RoyceChedzoy.com
