Geneva Wagoner, age 69, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was born January 3, 1949, daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie Royal Wagoner.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Margie Wagoner; one granddaughter, Tonya Perry.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 50 years, Lester Wagoner; one son, Kenneth Wagoner (Marty) of Lenoir; two daughters, Brenda Mathis of Hudson and Sandra Wagoner of Ferguson; three brothers, Marvin Wagoner, Gene Wagoner and Spencer Wagoner all of Wilkes County; six grandchildren, Raymond Mathis, Tracy Rash, Terry Wagoner, Jason Perry, Janessa Wagoner, Makayla Wagoner; four great-grandchildren, Eli Rash, Bailey Rash, Paige Billings, Samuel Mathis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 21, 2018 at Mackie Funeral Home from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the chapel at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private
