Louis A. (Pete) Wiedeman of Newport KY passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 92. Owner and 2nd generation operator of Wiedeman Pastry Shop located in Ft.Thomas KY. Pete was a WWII Navy veteran who proudly served his country. Former Quartermaster of John R Little VFW post in Southgate Ky. Past president of the Northern Ky. / Greater Cincinnati Bakers Association. Past member of the Ft. Thomas Optimists, Knights of Columbus, active member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and faithful attendee of 43 consecutive Men of Milford faith retreats. Loving husband and best friend to Patricia (Groh) Wiedeman for 65 yrs. Father of 6 children. Survived by daughter Jeanette Wiedeman, daughter Patti and husband Daniel Graziani, son David and wife Jill Wiedeman, son Mark and wife Cindie Wiedeman. Sons Danny and Timmy preceded him in death. Also survived by grandchildren Paige Siemendinger, Devan Perkins, Nathan Graziani, Patrice Graziani, Alex Wiedeman, John Wiedeman, Cassandra Cogbill, Ricky Roberts, and great granddaughter Emerson Perkins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Mother of God Church, 119 W. 6th St. Covington, KY 41011. (859) 291-2288 Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation at 12:05pm at Mother of God Church. Burial will be immediately following the service at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North 205 Eibeck Ln., Williamstown Ky. (859) 823-0720.
