Denise Chantay Marcus, 51, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Graveside services will be October 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. Denise was born in Junction City, Kansas on September 15, 1967 to Hubert Lee and Norma Jean (Wayne) Kirkpatrick. She grew up in Junction City where she attended school. Denise graduated from Junction City High School in 1986. Denise worked in food service as a waitress and for many years as a bank teller for First National Bank of Junction City and Capitol Federal. She married Patrick Marcus on December 12, 1988 in Junction City. They moved to Lenexa in 1997 and then to Edgerton in 2003. Denise was a member of The First Christian Church of Junction City. She loved her cats and watching TV. Denise will be dearly missed.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother Norma and sons Dylan and Christopher. She is survived by her husband Patrick of the home, father Hubert of Junction City, Kansas, and brother Randall James Kirkpatrick of Junction City, Kansas.
