Obituary for Gregory David "Greg" Gillum Sr.

Gregory David Gillum Sr., 69, of Union, KY passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Greg proudly served his country as a member of the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. He had received the National Defense Service Medal, and a Sharpshooter medal during his service. He was the former Commander of the American Legion Post 20 in Erlanger, KY, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 4 in Florence, KY. He was a mechanic for the Norfolk Southern Railroad, and he loved working on classic cars. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Gillum and Marjorie Honaker, his wife: Ronda Gillum, his grandson: Christopher Gillum, and his son: Ronald Big. Greg is survived by his loving children: Gregory David Gillum Jr. (Sarah), Todd Michael Big, Mandra Rae Gillum, Shannon Gillum, David Gillum, and Ronda Gillum, his dear siblings: Pam Giese, Eddie Honaker, Linda Eckhart, Teddy Honaker, Frankie Honaker, Liz Honaker, and Terry Honaker, and numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Greg will be laid to rest on Monday, October 8, 2018 promptly at 10:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans North Cemetery in Williamstown, KY.
