Wretha was born in Springfield, MO on Aug. 27, 1940 to Ralph and Hazel (Sullivan) Galeener. She was a letter carrier and clerk for the US Postal Service. Wretha was also a Cessna pilot and ham radio operator. Her call number was KC0HHO. Wretha was a part of SATERN (Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network.) She was a therapy dog owner and handler of her Chocolate Lab, “Ivy.” Wretha enjoyed beekeeping, hunting, gardening and fishing. She attended Unity Church of Overland Park, KS. Wretha will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Wretha is survived by her sister, Susan K. Dolan of Gardner, KS.
