Richard S. Moore III, age 56, of West Haven passed away on October 5, 2018. Loving husband of Diane Skarlos Moore. Richard was born in New Haven, son of the late Richard S. II and Sigrid Nowak Moore. He is also survived by daughter Nicole Ciccosanti of West Haven, his grandchildren Riley and Alexis, his siblings Andrea Moore (Frank Kilfeather) of Morris Cove and Kevin M. Moore of West Haven, his uncle, David (Dale) Moore of Clinton, his in laws, John and Rosemarie Skarlos, Debbie (Bill) Guarnieri, Lori (Mike) Langrieger, and Amy (John Barone) Skarlos, his niece Christina, his nephews Michael (Stephanie), Michael (Chelsea) William V., William J., Ryan, Sean, Michael, great nephew Giovanni and great nieces Ellarose and Aubrey.

Richard was a Letter Carrier for the USPS in Branford for 30 years, he was the Sergeant at Arms for the NALC branch 19 and was a member of the West Haven Elks Lodge #1537 for 35 years.

Visitation will be TUESDAY from 9-10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Church at 11am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimers Association Connecticut Chapter 200 Executive Blvd Suite 4B Southington, CT. 06489-1058.
