Dorothy Thomas was born March 24, 1934 in Cuero, TX to Elbert Patton of Goliad and Ruth Price Patton of Gonzales, TX. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and cooking; was a caregiver to those in need; and she loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Debra Wimbish, Rosalyn Thomas, Daryle Thomas, Jerrel Thomas and wife Lori Thomas. She is also survived by her siblings; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Elbert; brothers, John Williams, Melvin Williams, Cleveland Williams, and Alfonso Patton; sisters, Willie Lee Hilliard and Mavis Thomas.
A visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Quinn Chapel in Cuero, TX beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a chapel service to start at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerome Hardy, officiating; and Rev. Lou Terry Jackson, eulogist. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cuero, TX. Services are entrusted to Grace Memorial Chapel.
